We’ve created a quiet space with Internet and free color printing, common school supplies and a community mentor to encourage students to create school work that they can be proud of! Open Monday-Thursday for students in grades four through twelve.
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to read the graphic novel Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson then attend this discussion. Copies of the book are available at the South Side Information Desk beginning June 1. Registration is required.

Create beautiful leaf casts with plaster of Paris then paint them with metallic water colors. Bring your own leaf, seed pod, stone, pinecone or other natural item to cast. Registration is required. Grades 6-12.
Make and take a colorful planter reusing a blast from the past - floppy discs! Pick out some seeds and plant away. Groups of larger than 10 are asked to call ahead at 248-6420.

Teens! Do you love chocolate? Come to the Cooking Hour where you can learn to make chocolate candy molds!
Teens! Come express your artistic side and learn how to create Mehndi, or temporary Indian body art! Use our Henna paste and designs to create wearable art!
Play a variety of card and board games as well as the Nintendo Wii.
