I hear we may have some warmer weather next week, but there are still two more weeks to participate in the Winter Reading Program. Keep reading and keep sending us your reviews! Thanks to everyone who has participated so far! Here is this week's winner:

We’re halfway through the Winter Reading Program! After three weeks, we’ve had some great reviews and recommendations. This week has been a doozy — lots of snow, cold temperatures and no promise of a reprieve anytime soon. That means it’s the perfect time to stay in and curl up with a good book. Week 4 started today at noon and goes until next Friday — plenty of time to read and review. Enjoy!

For book lovers, there’s not much better than curling up with a good book, blanket and a cup of tea on a cold winter night or day. And because the winter can sometimes seem like it will never end, the Des Moines Public Library is going to celebrate staying in with a Winter Reading Challenge! It’s really easy — all you need to do is read a book and then tell us about it. After you’ve finished your book, go online to http://dmpl.org/winter-reading and submit a review.
