Ms. American Pie: Buttery Good Pie Recipes and Bold Tales from the American Gothic House
Beth M. Howard is a writer, web producer, and public relations consultant, but in recent years has become best known as an author and pie baker. Her media career spans more than twenty-five years with a wide range of expertise in adventure travel, outdoor sports, the coffee trade, television, hospitality, and the high-tech industry. Her first book, Making Piece: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Pie was published in 2012. Today, Howard lives in the famous American Gothic House in Eldon, Iowa, where she writes, teaches pie classes, and during the summer runs the Pitchfork Pie Stand.
