Play, Grow, Learn!

Here is an opportunity for you to come to the meeting room of the East Side Library to explore early literacy tips and books, and play with others. This is an unsupervised, drop-in playtime where parents and caregivers are encouraged to interact with their children. Many items will be available for free exploration and play. For infants to age 4.

East Side Knit-In

Look forward to an afternoon of sharing techniques and meeting fellow knitters!

Adults, please bring your own knitting project. We will provide materials (needles, pattern, yarn) for children to begin a simple scarf. Attendees are expected to work independently, but mentors will be on hand to give initial directions and set-up and answer questions.

Cookies, hot chocolate, and tea provided.

Registration required for children and teens 10-18 to ensure that we have adequate supplies. Space is limited.

Ages 10 and up.
