We'll have plenty of supplies to help you turn your old stuffed animals, action figures, toys, dolls, and more into creatures of the night. As the program winds down, we'll be voting on our favorite freaky Frankenstein-y knickknacks and handing out prizes. Feel free to wear a costume so you can head straight out to Beggars' Night!

Iowa Ghosts and the Afterlife

Oct 20
Saturday 2:00 pm
Paranormal investigator Terry Fisk is coming to tell us about Iowa’s spookiest locations. Fisk, author of several books about haunted locations across the Midwest, will share photos, case histories, eyewitness accounts, and ghost lore. He’ll recall his conversations with famous magician and paranormal skeptic James Randi, and he’ll share stories about his investigations with world-renowned medium Allison DuBois (the real-life inspiration for the hit CBS series, Medium) and psychic Chip Coffey.

Drake University communications professor Jennifer Glover Konfrst will talk about “fake news” and how it’s impacting the way the public processes news.
