Bring the family to South for Scratch Art Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Elementary Area! Choose a design, use the scratching tool to reveal the colors underneath, and take your design home! Ages 3-12. This is an unsupervised, drop-in program. Parent/guardian must be present with children. Craft available while supplies last.
The LEGO bricks will be available in the Children's Area, so bring your imagination and get ready to build.

Visit the North Side Library to learn more about frogs! Polk County Conservation joins us to teach us more about these hoppy friends! A live frog will visit if available.
Join us immediately after storytime to make a mess and enjoy sensory play together. Each week we'll have different textures, colors, sounds, scents, and shapes for families to explore and manipulate. We will meet outside and have aprons for our messier activities.
On Thursdays, children and their caregivers can enjoy stories, rhymes, fingerplays, and songs together, followed by a period of free play or drawing.

Meet families with other young children, check out our awesome picture and board books, and engage in the five Simple Steps to Success - Read, Write, Sing, Play, and Talk! We'll have a variety of toys and more that promote learning for little ones. Ages 0-3.
Kids and families can listen to stories, songs, and rhymes on the South Side Library’s lawn! After storytime, families can play with our parachute/outdoor toys and engage in STEM activities. In case of rain, storytime will be held in the Meeting Room. For youth ages 3 to 8.
