On Thursdays, children and their caregivers can enjoy stories, rhymes, fingerplays, and songs together, followed by a period of free play or drawing.
Bring the family at night for stories, songs, and occasional crafts that prepares your children for school! It's a great way for parents and caregivers to enjoy stories with their children. You can even wear your jammies! All ages.

Join us for a special storytime with IPTV and get a chance to meet Daniel Tiger. There will be stories and songs followed by an opportunity to have your picture taken with Daniel! Kids and families can listen to stories, songs, and rhymes on the South Side Library’s lawn! After storytime, families can play with our parachute/outdoor toys and engage in STEM activities. In case of rain, storytime will be held in the Meeting Room. For youth ages 3 to 8.
Children ages three to five can come and enjoy stories, rhymes, songs, and more, followed by a craft.
Stop by the children's area at Central Library to explore, create, and play! This is an unstaffed program where activities are self-led. Parent/Guardian must be present with child, and supplies may be limited.
Art supplies will be available in the Children's Area. Bring your imagination and creativity and make something amazing!
