Kids! Stop by Rosie's Forest at Forest Avenue Library and read a book to a reading therapy dog! Reading to a dog is a great way to build reading/language skills while making a furry friend!
Kids! Stop by the South Side Library's Elementary Area from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Poster Coloring Day! Use our supplies, select your poster, color it and take it home! For youth ages 3-12. This is an unsupervised, drop-in program. Parent or guardian must be present with children. Craft available while supplies last.
The LEGO bricks will be available in the Children's Area, so bring your imagination and get ready to build.
Come to the library to hang out with therapy dog Annie. Annie is a two-year-old golden retriever and licensed therapy dog. Annie will be in the Children's Area from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for kids to come in and read to her, give her a snuggle, or just say hi.

Celebrate all things Pokémon at South with a Pokémon-themed scavenger hunt from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Find all of the hidden Pokémon inside the library and receive a prize! Ages 5 and up.
This month we will create a piece of artwork that uses sand in place of paint. Younger siblings may attend if accompanied by an adult.
