Bad Art Night

Join us for an evening of bad art at the East Side Library. This all-ages event will showcase your creativity. Materials will be provided for you to make a “bad” piece of art – -use your creativity to make your best Pinterest fail or mess-terpiece. Each team will have 30 minutes to create their work, then each piece of art will be put into our exhibition for all to vote. Three "winners" will be chosen with fun prizes. Light refreshments will be provided. Families/Teams are encouraged to register below.

Franklin Crafty Readers Special: Jim and Rick Autry Read Aloud

Bring the family to meet the co-authors of a new book, Everyday Virtues: Classic Tales to Read with Kids, James and Rick Autry will share how and why they have gathered this fascinating collection of stories. Learn how the story notes and lessons of the heart can be used by adults to help children understand what virtues mean in their own lives. Then, sit back and listen as the authors read a favorite story and invite questions and further discussion. All ages are welcome.
