Science Wednesdays: Polk County Conservation Presents: Owls!

A special guest from Polk County Conservation will be discussing the incredible lives of owls. Then we will try to figure out what owls eat by dissecting owl pellets. Science Wednesdays is a chance for kids ages six to twelve to explore different aspects of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Please preregister for this program.

Super Hero Foods! with Dani Lin

Join us for a special event with local health coach and cooking instructor Dani Lin as she presents "Super Hero Foods: Super tasty foods that give kids super health, super strength and super happy parents!" Join our guest speaker as she encourages conversations about what foods make them strong or weak, ways kids and families can add super hero foods into their day, and shares a healthy snack.



Friday Morning Fever Dance Party for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Dance, dance! Friday Morning Fever is the perfect way to kick off your weekend. Our first dance party this past March was a huge hit, so we’re bringing back the fun! We’ll have lots of great music from all decades that will help you get into a funky mood. There will be snacks, balls, parachutes, games, and more! So put on your boogie shoes and twirl on into the Central Library for a one-of-a-kind dance party!
