Kids! Listen to the sounds of the animals and learn how animals communicate with zoo educators from the Blank Park Zoo! This interactive program will feature stories, animals and movement for kids! All ages welcome!

Teens! Visit the Teen Maker Lab at South this summer and learn the science of bath bombs and soap by making your own! Come create bars of soap and bath bombs for you to take home! For teens ages 12-18. Groups of six or more should call Janee at 283-4152 to make arrangements.

Between 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, the East Side Library invites families and children with special needs to borrow materials and enjoy the library’s sensory stations. We will reduce the lighting and have areas set up to encourage activity or provide calming spaces. Our friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you find materials that are perfect for your family!

The Art in the Library summer programs are focusing on a different artist each month. In August, we will learn about and practice Georges Seurat's pointillism technique. This program is for children ages six to twelve and requires preregistration. Younger siblings may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Kids! Do you love all things slime? Come to Slime Saturday and listen to a story about unicorns and learn how to make colorful unicorn slime! For youth ages 5-12. Parent or guardian must be present with children.
