Join the Ukulele Craze and Learn How to Play

April 2nd, 6:00pm to 7:00pm
It’s time to strum it out! Learn to play the ukulele at the North Side Library! The small string instrument has seen a huge rise in popularity in recent years as an alternative for guitars, especially for beginners. You’ll learn basic chords and strumming patterns through the four weeks. Soprano ukuleles will be available to check out with your library card when you register. This four-week class will be led by Natalie Steenson, the director of Art House Des Moines. April 30th will be a reunion for all those who have taken this class.
