Kevin Williamson created the “Des Moines, How can we help you?” Facebook group in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A year later, the group includes over 17,000 members who have been supporting each other through this difficult time. He’ll share his “spark story”—or what inspired him to start the group.
