Dissect an Owl Pellet!

Visit the Woodlawn Park open shelter from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM for this free program with Miss Jennifer where children will explore science through activities and experiments.  This time we will be dissecting real own pellets to see what kinds of animals they eat!

Come prepared to get dirty and bring your own chair or blanket if you want to avoid sitting on the grass.

Activity will be available while supplies last. This program is recommended for ages 5 and up.

In case of rain, this event will be cancelled and the materials for this project will be available for pick-up at Franklin Avenue Library to complete at home.

Central Iowa Shelter & Services will serve a free meal at this location after the program.  The meal is free and available to anyone.
