Winter Birds at the East Side Library

December 29th, 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Not all birds fly south for the winter! Winter is a great time to pull out the binoculars and bird watch. Our friends at Polk County Conservation will help us identify the birds that stick around and endure the windy winter weather, like woodpeckers, blue jays, cardinals, and black-capped chickadees. Find out what they look like, what sounds they make, and how they survive during these cold, dark days. It’s a great excuse to get out in the cold! This is a family friendly event for all ages!
