CANCELLED Art with ASAP

Use your imagination through stories and art at ASAP, the After School Arts Program. Instructor Maureen Korte will lead children of all ages in art activities while telling interactive stories. Korte is a renowned storyteller, having practiced her craft across the country for several decades. Meet each Wednesday for an afternoon of imagination and fun. No registration required.

Do you want to practice your English skills? Looking to meet new people in your community? Join community members and English language learners alike at Forest Avenue Library and enjoy light refreshments and sparkling conversation! Comics Creators

Love Raina Telgemeier, superheroes, manga, graphic novels, and cartoons? Ready to let your artist flag fly? Then come to Comics Creators! We'll provide the paper and pens, you provide the creativity! This is an unsupervised, drop-in program. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over 12 years old. For grades 4-12

Play, Grow, Learn!

Play, Grow, Learn! is an opportunity for you to use the Imagination Station to explore early literacy tips and books, play with others, and develop early literacy skills using Forest Avenue Library's space and toys. This is an unsupervised, drop-in playtime where parents and caregivers are encouraged to interact with their children. Many items will be available for free exploration and play.
