Seed Library
The Seed Library at the East Side Library is a free resource for people to take and share seeds with the community.
How does our seed library work?
- Choose your seeds: Check out up to 5 packets per month.
- Plant your garden, and return any unused seeds from the borrowed packet.
- Save your seeds that the plants produce to donate back to the seed library. This step is optional.
Seed donation guidelines:
Seed donations are encouraged, but not required. Return dry, cleaned seeds from healthy, open-pollinated plants when possible.
Volunteer to help with the Seed Library:
Things we could use help with include:
- Packaging seeds
- Sorting donations
- Upkeeping the catalog
