Race Day at the Library!

Kids! Race down to the Central Library to create your own
racetrack! Use cardboard and other materials to build while listening to a story, and check out our collection of racing books at the library! Pre-registration is required.

Minecraft Bingo

Do you love everything Minecraft? If you do, you should join us for our first ever Minecraft Bingo event. Match up the Minecraft items on your game card as we call them out. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and snacks will be provided.

Kids Book Club and Apple Cider Making

Students who read Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl are invited to discuss the book and, like Mr. Bean, enjoy some apple cider which we will make ourselves!

Registration is required. For students entering grades 3-6. Books available at the Information Desk beginning June 1.

Furry Tales

Kids! Stop by the North Side Library children’s area and read a book to Shawna, the reading therapy dog! Reading to Shawna is a great way to build reading/language skills while making a furry friend!

Ready, Set... Design!

July 5th,

You will have three ten-minute challenges: build the tallest tower of pasta, safest egg drop parachute and a racing car using only the materials given to you!

Rosie Reads Storytime!

Join us for a special storytime with the library's mascot, Rosie the Reader! We’ll sing favorite songs and read a book with Rosie’s help. Stay afterwards for games, prizes and fun!
