Borrowing Policies
You must be a resident of Des Moines, Windsor Heights or Saylor Township to use Libby by Overdrive. Up to ten items can be checked out at a time. Magazines do not apply to this limit. Items check out for three weeks. Holds can be placed on up to ten items at one time. You have three days to checkout an on-hold item once it becomes available. You may set your holds to automatically check out in your settings.
NOTE: The Overdrive app will no longer be available to new users beginning in February 2022. New users looking for the OverDrive app will be directed to Libby.
