Join After School Arts Program (ASAP) teaching artist E.J. Frye for a virtual art lesson on how to make an ecosculpture in the shape of a hand. Learn how to create a life-size hand out of recycled materials like plastic bags and baking twine.
Beginning July 6, you can stop by any of our six library branches to pick up a free ASAP Art Kit containing all of the materials needed for this project. These kits will be available while supplies last.
Then, visit us on Facebook starting Tuesday, July 13, at 2:00 PM for a video tutorial with E.J. Frye. If you can't make it on Tuesday, the video will be available to watch for two weeks after it first airs.
This project is recommended for ages 8 and up.
