Program Description
Event Details
Join the South Side Library and Des Moines Parks and Recreation to discover some of the birds that live outdoors and in your own backyard! Participants can listen to a story about birds. Afterwards, kids will participate in bird-based activities, including using binoculars on a short hike to find live wild birds - and make a Pop Bottle Birdfeeder to take home and hang in their own yard.
In case of rain, program will be held in the Meeting Room.
For youth ages 5-12. Preregistration required. Space is limited.
