Adventure Pass Ending in 2025

Due to circumstances outside of our control, the Des Moines Public Library’s Iowa Adventure Pass service will no longer be available in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. We hope to reintroduce the service at a later time, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Previously The Great Americana Book Club, we return this month with a new name and location! This month's book is Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala. Copies are available at the Central Library Circulation Desk and Pickup Window while supplies last as well as on Libby.  If you wish to pick up a book at the Central Library, books will only be given to those who are on the registration list (please wait until the day after you register to pick up your book to allow staff to update their list). 

 

Books & Bites meets at The Walnut, which is located at 1417 Walnut St.
