Dig into the past at the library with our fun fossils! Join us for a hands-on adventure where young paleontologists can uncover "dinosaur fossils" in a digging activity designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! A special guest from Polk County Conservation will lead a fascinating presentation about Iowa’s paleontological history. Kids will learn how fossils are formed, where to find them, and discover the ancient creatures that once roamed the state.

Come explore the world of fossils and leave with a deeper understanding of our planet's ancient history!
