Event Details
Did you enjoy corn this summer? What about popcorn while watching a movie? The corn we eat today was first discovered and grown by Native Americans. Through trade and sharing growing methods with other Native American tribes and Europeans, corn has become an important food for many people around the world.
In honor of Native American Heritage Month and the many foods Native Americans shared with the world, Central will have a drop-in craft where you can make a corn necklace from beads and pipe cleaners.
We will have a craft table set up in the children's area while supplies last.
