Library opening delayed

All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will open at Noon Saturday, December 14 due to weather. All locations will serve as emergency warming shelters during open hours.

Event Details

The whole family can come to Colby Park for a special Family Storytime presented by the Franklin Avenue Library! Bring your own blanket or chairs and join us for stories, songs, and rhymes in the great outdoors.

In the event of inclement weather storytime will be held at the Windsor Heights Community Center next to Colby Park.
