Are you a mighty girl*? Ready to become a mighty woman, but have questions? Then come to Forest Avenue Library, meet community experts, and get your questions answered in this five-session series! Know your body, know yourself, get empowered. Session Topic: Strong Minds Moving Forward: Mental Health and Coping Skills Registration Required. Please register for the September 10 session, which enrolls attendee in all sessions. Attendance is encouraged but not required at every session. The Girl Power Initiative seeks to empower and encourage independence among girls, so we respectfully suggest parents/caregivers wait outside the session. Pizza/snacks will be provided. *The Girl Power Initiative recognizes and welcomes individuals who self-identify as gender fluid, non-binary, and transgender who seek inclusion in our programming. Ages 8-12.
