Cooling Centers

All DMPL locations are serving as cooling centers during open hours. DART is providing free rides to cooling center locations July 12-15 due to the extreme heat. Additional cooling center locations can be found here. Please check the events calendar for any weather-related postponements or cancelations prior to attending outdoor events.

Come celebrate summer and the upcoming Iowa State Fair at the Central Library! Find all the pictures in the Youth area to get a prize!

And don't forget to sign up for a slot to Learn to Sculpt Butter with Sarah Pratt on Monday, July 29th! We will have two sessions: 5-6pm and 6:30-7:30pm. Registration required.
