Event Details

Join us and the National Alliance on Mental Illness to learn about the importance of mental health. This introductory program will shed light on various aspects of mental health conditions, including why mental health is as important as physical health, how to recognize the warning signs of a condition in yourself or others, and who to turn to in a time of crisis. The presentation will be lead by a trained presenter with a personal connection to mental health and a young adult living with a mental health condition. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. This program is open to students in grades 6-12.

Teens that participate in the program will also receive a FREE bag from the library filled with items and information to help relieve stress. After you register for this event, visit our North Side location at 3516 5th Ave. and let us know your name to pick up your bag!
