Event Details
Kids and families! Come see a live owl, brought by a naturalist from Polk County Conservation! You'll also view several taxidermy mounts and learn how different adaptations of owls enable them to be good predators.
We will also be handing out a limited number of outdoor explorer kits. Take your kit home and use it to collect nature samples, then bring your cool finds back to the library on July 19 for the Amphibians program, and a Polk County naturalist will help you identify them!
Kits will be available while supplies last.
