All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Program Description

Event Details

Come to the library for art with a little bit of science! We'll prepare paper for color, float paint on water, and take home bright, unique designs.

You can use marbled paper to wrap gifts, write letters, or of course bind books! Keep an eye on our calendar for more book binding.

This program is intended for adults. Children may work together with their grown-ups. Space is limited by supplies.
