All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

This week's Creative Readers will feature a special performance from What if Puppets.

Join travelin’ John Paul George and his singing dog Ringo on an interactive, musical road trip. Audiences are encouraged to sing, clap, and stomp along as the duo performs such favorites as “B-I-N-G-O,” “Wheels on the Bus,” and “Do Your Ears Hang Low?” They’re joined by a … dancing chicken!
