Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a hands-on sourdough bread-making experience with Erica from EZ Sourdough Co.! Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a curious beginner, this workshop is for you. We’ll provide the sourdough starter, so no need to worry about the initial steps. Instead, we’ll focus on maintaining and nurturing your starter. Here’s what we have planned:

  • Starter Maintenance: Learn how to feed and care for your sourdough starter to keep it healthy and active.
  • Dough Stages: Explore different stages of sourdough dough, from mixing to bulk fermentation. We’ll demonstrate stretch and folds for optimal gluten development.
  • Shaping & Baking: Watch as Erica shapes a loaf and learn techniques for achieving that perfect crust.Plus, we’ll have a freshly baked loaf for you to enjoy!

Registration isn't required, but highly recommended! This allows for us to know how many sourdough starters are needed and to make sure everyone can have a sample.
