Join After School Arts Program (ASAP) teaching artist Amy Tingstrom for a virtual art lesson on how to make a very unique collage portrait.  This portrait will be made entirely out of pictures of food and plants and is based on the work of the 16th century Italian painter Arcimboldo.

Beginning June 1, you can stop by any of our six library branches to pick up a free ASAP Art Kit containing all of the materials needed for this project.  These kits will be available while supplies last.

Then, visit us on Facebook starting Tuesday, June 8, at 2:00 PM for a video tutorial with Amy Tingstrom.  If you can't make it on Tuesday, the video will be available to watch for two weeks after it first airs.

This project is recommended for ages 8 and up.
