DMPL Cooling Centers
All locations of the Des Moines Public Library are serving as cooling centers during open hours. DART will provide free rides for the public to access cooling centers in Polk County. Riders should tell bus drivers when they board that they want to go to the cooling center. The driver will then transport riders to the nearest one

The Video/Photography Station may be reserved by any active library card holder in good standing who is at least fourteen-years-old. The station may be reserved for up to two hours a day during regular business hours. It may not be used for business purposes, with the exception of paid tutors.
No food may be brought into study rooms. Lidded drinks are allowed.
The station may be reserved for two hour sessions.

Equipment
You may bring your own camera equipment and use our lighting and tripod or a Panasonic - LUMIX GH5 Mirrorless 4K Photo Digital Camera Body with LEICA DG 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 Lens is available. Please check Panasonic Digital Camera to reserve.
