Crafts, games, exercise, health clinics and other activities for seniors and other adults. Meals served on selected days. Check calendar for details.

Employment training, personal development, skill development, one on one coaching sessions for anyone with a goal of career track and high wage jobs.

Call if you suspect a child under the age of 18 is being abused or neglected. Be ready to provide identifying information and the whereabouts of the child. You may remain anonymous.

Child Care Resource & Referral provides services that help parents make informed choices about the care of their children.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM

Child Care: offers affordable, quality child care for low-income families. Programs for before and after school care, school and summer vacation options with transportation to and from school. Domestic Violence Services Shelter: offers a safe place to heal and begin building a life free from violence. Grief/Loss: Licensed clinicians assist families in healing through grief and loss and other life situations/events.

Serves children and families near the north side of Des Moines with a variety of programs to support educational success including before- and after-school and summer programs.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM

Meal Times: Monday-Saturday 4:45 PM-5:30 PM

Offers substance abuse evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults

Hours: Wednesday 9 AM-5 PM, Tuesday 9 AM -6 PM, Thursday 9 AM-8 PM, Friday 9 AM-1 PM

Childserve partners with families to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life through specialized clinical, home, and community-based programs and services.

Offers substance abuse evaluations and outpatient treatment, as well as DOT reporting

Some of the services provided are chronic care, well baby checks, physicals (school/athletic), and lab work available.

Hours: Monday 7 PM-9 PM, Wednesday 7 PM-9 PM (16 & under only)

Program offered through Central Iowa Works. The project will work with limited individuals in the following ways: job placement, transportation logistics, health care access, and legal support. assisting 200 people, and those individuals are selected by the staff at the correctional facilities.
