Broaden your perspective, find new strategies for handling life’s challenges, or deepen your understanding of a topic when you join us for a monthly conversation around a life-changing nonfiction book. Our selection for March is Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross.

By special arrangement, this month we will meet at the Des Moines Art Center.  A special gallery tour will start at 5:00 PM and the book discussion will begin at 6:00 PM. 

Limited copies of the book will be available at the Central Pickup Window starting 02/12/2025.  Copies of the book will also be available for purchase at the Des Moines Art Center.

Central Parking

Free library parking is available in Central's underground parking garage for two hours per visit. Parking around the library is metered at various costs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
