Library opening delayed

All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will open at Noon Saturday, December 14 due to weather. All locations will serve as emergency warming shelters during open hours.

Join us once a month to discuss books by underrepresented authors. Our goal is to amplify these voices and experiences while discussing social issues in the context of fiction and non-fiction books.

Our March selection is The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride. Copies will be available for pick-up at the Franklin Ave Library Help Desk starting February 14th.
