Program Description
Event Details
Have you ever wanted to slay a dragon, raid a dungeon treasure room, or even save a village from an evil bandit horde? Always wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons, but didn’t know where to start? Join us as we learn the basics of how to get started and play with The Rook Room.
We will learn everything from character creation, to combat, to the basics of storytelling, and more.
This program will include doing some simple math, some mild violence, and imagination. There will be some time following the program to ask questions and meet others interested in D&D.
This series only requires a one-time registration. Each session will build on information presented at previous sessions, so please plan on attending as many sessions as possible to build on your D&D knowledge.
Supplies for this program (dice and instructional handouts) can be picked up at the Franklin Avenue Library youth desk starting Monday, June 7.
