Reading on the Margins at the Des Moines Art Center

Reading on the Margins is headed to the Des Moines Art Center! Join us for a tour of the Firelei Báez exhibition and a discussion of Julia Alvarez’s The Cemetery of Untold Stories. We will meet in the Art Center Lobby at 6 pm to begin the tour. 

Join us once a month to discuss books by underrepresented authors. Our goal is to amplify these voices and experiences while discussing social issues in the context of fiction and non-fiction books.
