We're 15 days from Christmas, and the library is as busy as ever. This week, we'll have lots of holiday-themed programs, and you'll have the chance to hang out with Rosie Reader and her friends Llama Llama, Skye from Paw Patrol, and one of the Minions.

South Kid’s Classics: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The surly Mr. Grinch is up to no good. With a heart two sizes too small, he’s determined to ruin Christmas for all the people in Whoville. We’ll be showing the animated TV special while frosting cookies and making cards. For ages 3-12; parents must be present with children during the screening.
Crafternoon

Stop by the Children's area at Central Library to explore, create, and play! We’ll have supplies out to allow you to devise works of your own mind’s eye. This is an unstaffed program where activities are self-led. Parent/Guardian must be present with child, and supplies may be limited.
ARL Rescue Bunnies Family Storytime

What makes everything better? Bunnies! That’s why, for one week, we’re adding bunnies to our regular family storytime. Come meet some rescue bunnies from the ARL while enjoying stories, rhymes, and songs together. It’s a great way for busy families to relax and spend time together.
Psychedelic Snowflakes

Bring bright colors into your winter décor by turning a snowflake into a piece of art! We’ll supply coffee filters, watercolors, and more to give your snowflakes a vibrant edge. Try different cuts and colors to see how different patterns turn out. We’ll even let you make as many snowflakes as you like!

Stop by Rosie's Forest at Forest Avenue Library and read a book to Jersey, the reading therapy dog! Reading to Jersey is a great way to build reading/language skills while making a furry friend!
